Situated at the base of Mt. Alyeska in picturesque Girdwood Alaska, Alpine Apartment is a luxurious rustic modern space with sweeping mountain and forest views. Its located in a quiet setting just steps away from all the action at Alyeska Resort and many other great Girdwood attractions. The large 1-BR 1-BA space can sleep/entertain 6 people comfortably. It includes a spacious front patio area complete with Hot Tub!! Perfect for relaxing in the sun or enjoying one of Alaska's unmatched sunsets. The space This spacious 840 sq. ft. daylight basement apartment has towering 9 ft. ceilings with an industrial/modern chalet feel. The multiple large windows and patio doors provide the space with generous amounts of natural light and airflow. The property has radiant heated floors throughout, which come in handy during the cool Alaskan winter. The open concept living/dining/kitchen area is located at the front of the property, while the one large bedroom is located at the back. The single bathroom is located just off the main living space and next to the entrance to the bedroom. BEDS: Bedroom - 1 King Size, 1 Futon Living Room - 1 Sofa Bed All beds are fully furnished with quality hotel grade sheets, comforters, blankets, and pillows. For your convenience, the furnishings for bedroom futon and living room sofa bed are located in bedroom closet. BATHROOM: A rustic modern spa like ambiance will surround you in this cozy yet functional space. Grey wood tile throughout will give you that chalet feel, while the almost hidden standup shower will amaze with its tile work and river rock floor. The added comfort of the In-floor heat never gets old. You will enjoy every second in this one of a kind bathroom. ENTRY/GEAR AREA: This area was designed for storage and convenience. It will allow for you to store and dry all your gear after a full day on the slopes. It is complete with a ski/snowboard rack, multiple hooks for gear/coat storage, and boot storage. A bench area is also included for easy gear-up and gear-down. KITCHEN/BBQ AREA: The gourmet kitchen has commercial style stainless steel countertops and island with ample prep space. The appliances are stainless steel as well and include a gas stove, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. It has all the equipment needed to produce a restaurant quality meal. This includes pots, pans, bakeware, knives, cooking utensils, ect. You will find plenty of dinnerware and glassware, including wine glasses. Also included is a Keurig coffee, coco, and tea maker for those early mornings and late relaxing nights. If you don't feel like cooking in the kitchen, we also offer for your use a commercial grade gas BBQ located on the front patio. This allows you to enjoy the great views while cooking a quality meal for you and your guests. LIVING/DINING AREA: The living and dinning area is a multi-purpose space that allows for great entertaining. The couch and ottoman are there as a comfortable gathering and seating area for entertaining, or a cozy area to watch a movie on the flat screen Smart TV. You can enjoy your meals at our mid-century modern dinning table that seats 4-6 people. (pullout leafs at each end can add additional table space and/or seating) PATIO/OUTDOOR SPACE: A large patio area located next to the front entrance. It is complete with a Hot Tub that you may use during your stay. This patio area will allow you to relax and enjoy the beautiful northern rainforest and mountain views that Alaska has to offer. TV/WIFI: For your enjoyment the apartment is supplied with a flat screen smart TV. You have access to all your favorite streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, ect. The actual streaming service account subscription is not included. All you need is your own account login and you are set. High-Speed WiFi internet will be provided to all guests. Streaming movies is allowed. (please do not stream in 4K only HD) Login information will be provided. PARKING: A single parking space will be provided with apartment rental. It is located to the left as you pull into the property, please use the space closest to the road. OTHER AMENITIES: Washer and Dryer are available upon request for stays longer than 7 days. No detergent will be supplied for renters use. Please do not use detergent supplied (for property cleaning crew use only). Laundry facilities are located in the secured garage utility room. The area is monitored 24hrs by security cameras. CHECK-IN/OUT: Very Easy! You will be supplied a door code the day of check-in. This code will be good for the entirely of your stay. At checkout all you need to do is lockup. Guest access All areas of Apartment and Front Patio area (Includes Hot Tub and BBQ) Interaction with guests I am up to socializing with guests, but will default to giving you your space.
